54. Lyra's Oxford: His Dark Materials Book 4 - Philip Pullman - 49 pages. Interesting little chapbook that has a story related to the series. Also has things like a postcard, a map, and a variety of other brochures/items that are supposedly related to the story.

55. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - J.K. Rowling - 652 pages. Picked this up on the Monday after the book came out. Would have gotten/finished it earlier if I hadn't been out of town for the weekend a couple weeks ago. Didn't realize that my library system had ordered 500 copies, since I was initially number 418 out of over 2,000 hold requests. Liked the story, was disappointed in the ending, and not sure what is next for the series.

56. The Amber Spyglass: His Dark Materials Book 3 - Philip Pullman -518 pages. Ok book, not as thrilling as the first two, and more sad in several areas. It was a fluke of the library hold request system that I got this after the 4th "book". Not really much to say, except that I enjoyed reading it.

57. Angels & Demons - Dan Brown -569 pages. Prequel to The Da Vinci Code. Really good book, enjoyed it thoroughly, and couldn't put it down. Super shocking twist in the end. I love the mystery and the searching that goes into his books as you are working along with the characters in your head to try and figure out what is going on.
