32. Shadowheart: Legends of the Raven - James Barclay - 421 pages. Continuing the Saga of the Raven... many battles, much magic, a war, and loss of several friends of the main characters. Still really like this author and will be seeking out more of his writing.

33. Pope Joan: A Novel - Donna Woolfolk Cross - 422 pages. Amazing read that is based on some historical records of there having been a woman Pope in the Catholic Church back in the 9th Century. Very intriguing story of a scholarly woman who was determined to keep learning, even though women were rarely taught to read and write, much less continue in education. I also have a more detailed non-fiction book on Pope Joan to read, but haven't gotten to it yet.

34. Exile's Return - Conclave of Shadows: Book Three - Raymond E. Feist - 345 pages. More great story from Feist. I love his stories of Midkemia, and all the intertwining that goes on between all the characters. This time the book focused on one of the bad guys of that last few novels, so that was an interesting change, as he comes to realize that he had been wrong, and mislead before. Really fast read, as it only took me a couple of days of lunches and commute to finish.

34 / 50 books read and 13,860 / 15,000 pages complete
