Yesterday I got up pretty early, had a lovely breakfast and headed out to see The Hulk at the local theater. The movie was pretty good, definitely better than the first one, and harkened back to the TV series much more. Plus Lou Ferrigno had a cameo as a security guard. Win!!
After that I went out grocery shopping (savings in the entry below). Watched a bunch of TV and had a tasty dinner of steak, steamed veggies and yukon gold mashed potatoes.
Today, also started out early, had a breakfast of hard-boiled egg, applesauce, and strawberry-banana yogurt. Then proceeded to Lloyd Center where I was planning on using the theater as a park & ride lot and hopping the MAX train downtown using fareless square. My plan had a fault in it though, the parking lots for the mall & theater were still chained up, so downtown I went. Not remembering that downtown parking meter spots are free (still not sure about that) on Sundays, I parked in a garage and then waited for the mall to open up.
I was the first person there for the MIPL event, and there was a bunch of about 10 of us who eventually showed up. We watched The Happening and all sat in a row. Had a fun time and enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't the best by M. Night Shymalin. Entertaining though and definitely a mystery even at the end.
On the way out of the theater got caught up talking with K, the hostess and ended up walking with her to her car. Turned out that she was parked right on the Pride Parade Route, and had a blanket in her trunk, so we settled down on the sidewalk and watched the parade go by. Thank goodness I had put on 55 SPF before I left the house, but I think I still ended up a little burnt. Photos are here:

mnemosyne9's graduation party / open house. Got to meet her mom & aunt and some friends, neighbors and coworkers. It was a nice time, and the food was amazing! Of course the peanut butter brownies were a tough temptation, but I managed to get away without ruining the diet too much. S & J came down to check out Vicey as J has been considering getting one for his next car.
Stopped at The Avenue for their $10 sale and got two pairs of drawstring shorts that will be awesome for working out / yoga etc.
Dinner was tomato soup with chicken and garlic croutons and I cooked a pork loin roast for the next few meals consumption. All in all a good weekend!
