They meet up on a dark & stormy night when she accidentally hits him with her car, and gets swept up into the mystery. The case eventually involves his college friends and some of her friends, and several twists and turns along the way... a real page-turner.
71. Slan - A.E. Van Vogt - 255 pages. One of the true classics of SF, that led the way for all the experimentation with the genre later. A story by this author was the basis of the Aliens movies! It's a story about differences, and the conflict that can engender.
