I'm back!
I arrived back through PDX last night, and we had some complications at the end of the journey, because my Dad thought we weren't coming back until tonight. That entailed taking a cab home and a bunch of phone calls here and there, and borrowing some good samaritan's cell phones as we ran out of change and calling card minutes. It also entailed my Mom sleeping in my bed with me last night.
I had a truly marvelous time and the itinerary was adjusted so we spent more time in a couple of places and visited a place that wasn't on the trip plan too. I didn't manage to get down much of it in writing, but my memory is pretty good, and with the maps, receipts, and books that I bought over there, I hope to eventually get it all up on LiveJournal.
Today was supposed to be a day of rest, but I didn't really get to do any of that at all. It definitely cememted my plan to take more French and work toward fluency though!
