99. The Secret of Spring - Jo Anne Teusch & Piers Anthony - 249 pages. Set in an alternate future where mankind has spread all over the place and has connected with multiple different alien races as well as mutated or been genetically altered themselves. Most of the action centers on a planet called P #38 (Paradise) where there are three types of vegetable/human hybrids. Treeple (moving tree types), Vinese (rolling vines) and Veganoids (human-like). It has a lot of the punny humor of Piers Anthony, but is definitely entertaining.
