Trip plans are shaping up for next November/December
After we realized that it would be too soon for me to get my new passport and arrangements made to make the discussed trip to Eastern Europe traveling the Rhone River, my mom came up with another alternative trip.
It looks like we're going to be taking the Grand Central Cruise Riverboat nine-day trip to France at the end of November beginning of December, with an additional leg of three days in Paris on the front end. Because I've always wanted to go to France (especially since I took 7 years of French language classes in High school and college), I'm going to be boning up on my conversation skills. So I've signed up for a class through PCC that is offered on Wednesday nights starting the first week in April. I'm hoping that the class isn't full, or ends up cancelled, since this would really help. That will get me through June and then I'll take another class to keep me refreshed and up to date in the fall before we go! Guess it's time to also pull out my old French textbooks!
