The check is in the mail...
Makes me feel so great to be able to pay off my parents! Now that is done, I won't have it looming over me, no matter the fact that it was at 0% interest, and they kept saying to take my time and not put myself in a financial bind. It is all paid off at last!
Not sure what to do with myself this weekend... I don't have any political committments except for writing a short speech for my candidacy for Recording Secretary next week. Oh, and the fourteem boxes and bags of material from the party offices that I have to sort through and see if there is anything interesting or of importance there... but don't really want to do that.
There are a couple of movies out that I want to see... Ultraviolet, 16 Blocks and a documentary on Global Warming opens tonight up at Cinema 21... might check that out.
I've also got to get some new potting soil with better nutrients for my Norfolk Pine plant, along with a larger pot... it isn't doing well right now, and I don't want it to die.
Oh, and there is laundry to do, I'm sure. Guess I'll figure out something to keep myself occupied... I DO know that I'll be headed to the library to drop off four books and pick up a couple more that are on hold for me.
