1. Demon Seed - Dean Koontz - 157 pages. Evil sentient computer, and it is told as a direct narrative by the computer. Interesting plot device.
2. The Eyes of Darkness - Dean Koontz -250 pages. This is the story of a divorced mother of a child who had passed away. Strange things start happening to her, leading to a search for her son who might not be dead, and plenty of adventures. Fairly good, but not Koontz' best work.
3. Currant Events: Chronicles of Xanth - Piers Anthony --336 pages. As always with the Xanth novels, there are puns aplenty, new characters, old favorite characters, and a travelling quest. I really liked this one.
4. Pet Peeve: Chronicles of Xanth - Piers Anthony - 332 pages. More puns, new & old characters, and another travelling quest. This one included the plot device of a foul-mouthed parrot/pet peeve, so they were constantly having to explain the animal and its quirks to everyone they met. Still a pretty good read though.
4 / 100 books read and 1,075 / 40,000 pages read.
