Coupons and Savings update
My last trip to Albertson's was another great one on saving money at the store. The original total of items purchased came to: $145.31 and I actually paid $92.07 for the cart full of groceries.

Bonus Buy Savings: $5.75
Preferred Card Savings: $31.19
Manufacturers Coupons: $11.30
Store Coupons: $5.00
Grand total: $53.24 saved!
In other news, I just got a statement on my new online savings account. I opened it on December 9th, and the statement closing date was December 31, 2005. In that space of time, I earned $15.37 in interest, and the savings interest rate increased from 3.75% to 3.8%! Whooohooo! It's much nicer having interest being earned instead of paid out by me!
