The signing is on for tonight
Hadn't heard from the loan processor by 1 PM today, so I called his cell and left a message. At 2 PM, I still hadn't heard anything, so called his brother/partner in the office and left a message with him. I then emailed both of them, expressing my concern that I hadn't heard anything yet, and that I hadn't been given the contact info for the notary.
3:30 PM, I got a phone call from the brother and he said he'd look into it for me and get right back immediately.
3:45 PM I got a call from the notary herself saying that she had just flown back into town from Denver, and no wonder I was getting concerned. We confirmed the time between 6:30 PM and 7 PM, as she is just printing out the documents right now. I made sure she had my home phone #, got her cell #, and gave her driving directions to make sure she won't get lost.
So, hopefully before 8 PM tonight all the signing and paperwork will be officially over!
