Managed to declutter and de-paper the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Got the nightstands cleared off and that felt great. I also reorganized the cabinets in the master bath. Cleaned the mirror, sink, counter, floor and toilet in there, and washed the rug. Next I took on the storage area under the stairs. There was an incredible amount of paper and plastic bags and wine transport styrofoam containers. That mess practically took up my whole entry hallway when I had pulled it out. I shuffled around some of the other boxes under there, and created enough room to put some shelves in for a pantry. I assembled two three-tier wire shelves in order to free up some counter space, and open some cabinet area in the kitchen. Even with my maple buffet hutch and free-standing pantry-cupboard, there is not near enough storage in the kitchen area.
At least I'm getting some things done! A's plan is to breakdown all the random cardboard boxes and assemble all the paper and plastic bags for recycling day on Wednesday morning. That will allow us to be able to walk around in the garage again and perhaps start tackling the mess out there.
