Update on my Aunt & Uncle
Got an email yesterday that my Aunt & Uncle are heading back to Mississippi and leaving Boone, NC and my other relatives. My Aunt works in ad sales for the Sun Herald, and her boss has been hassling her for over a week to come back. Apparently he has arranged a bunch of RV's and travel trailers for his staff to live in while things get back together and organized.
I can understand wanting your reporters and other crucial folks back on hand to report what is going on down there, but as my Uncle phrased it in an earlier email..."is she supposed to go around to the differnt rubble piles asking for advertising?"
Oh well, haven't gotten an update on their insurance situation, but hope that it is in the pipeline being processed, and that they can round up what possessions they might have left and be on the way back to Portland as soon as possible!
