I can't remember if anyone else got tickets, but we are going to see Nada Surf and the Velvet Teen on Friday night. We will also be going to this:
Man With A Movie Camera featuring a live score by Oranger
Dziga Vertov's classic, vibrant experimental film - one of the greatest Russian films of all time -- gets a psychedelic soundtrack from Noise Pop veterans Oranger. Non-stop visuals and a textured, noisy and gorgeous score -- highlighted by plenty of theremin, guitar sonics and loops -- merge in this one-time-only experience.

Alan from RobotSpeak will performing with them, providing some crazy electronic weirdness. I have seen a DVD of the performance they did for the LA Film Festival and it was pretty awesome. I recommend everyone comes along.
