Water please.
So I have had a pretty good past week. I had today off which has been the first Sunday I've had off in months. I got my 31 cent raise this week. Could not have come at a better time. Everything in this world has been going up except my paycheck so that will help out. I've been out in the pool as much as possible. It has been open for a week now. Laura came over and went swimming once so far. I bought new floats and cheap squirt guns at work to use.
I finally went to the beach on wednesday with Laura and Jackie, whom I had not seen in ages. It was fun fun fun and awesomely amazingly beautiful out. The sand was at the temperature of molten magma I believe, which was kind of hurtful. I loved the announcer..."there are little children.......::long pause:: and other people around you." We stayed for quite awhile. The water was a little chilly and I was scared of fish and jellyfish. I did not go under, but I went up to a little under my shoulders. After the beach we separated for a couple hours and then went to Texas Roadhouse together and Emily came along with us too. It was quite hilarious. We witnessed birthdays there and by golly is it ever embarrassing and I thought kissing a moose was bad. I had an amazing sweet potato which I had to take a picture with.
Last night I went to see The Happening with Alex after work. It was enjoyable. I always like M. Night Shymalan movies for some reason even though many people do not. It definitely freaked me out a bit. Went to Barnes and Noble, Target and Coldstone before the movie. I have three more card punches to go before I get a free like it sized ice cream. Had a sleepover afterwards. It was delightful.
Today Alex dropped me off before work. My aunt from New Hampshire and Grandma from Florida stopped by for a visit. We had gone out to eat at the Islander and went to Papas with my Grandma earlier in the week. She has a cool convertible rent a car a brand new Seabring and I am pretty sure it was the first time I had ever ridden in a convertible it was pretty nice. So yeah anyways after they left I went to the mall. Bought a new book at Waldens called The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. It sounds pretty interesting. I just finished The Glass Castle which was pretty good. I bought a new shirt I liked in Wet Seal and went to visit Alex for a little bit. It was pretty busy in there so I didn't stay long, but I brought him some slim jims or "meat sticks", tic tacs and vitamin water. I took a two hour nap and probably will not fall asleep for awhile now. Well thats about it.
