Sadnessss :(
Well I was looking forward to having a great weekend and it turned out partially ok. I slept over Alexs house Friday night. He came and picked me up after work. I made him go to Dunkin Donuts so I could get a bagel. We both fell asleep pretty early I was tired from not getting enough sleep the whole week.
On Saturday we were supposed to see The Elephant Man at the Gamm in Pawtucket, but we didn't get tickets in time so it sold out sadly. We ended up going later on though to buy tickets for the last performance on Sunday at 2. Went to Providence Place to eat at Unos. It was delicious & we walked around the mall too. Alex stopped in a few shoe stores of course. He wanted to buy some really ugly sneakers called Ice Creams...eww I was so glad he took my opinion into consideration and didn't get them. Went to Rabias house after purchasing the play tickets. We hung out there for a few hours. Her parents went to NY for the weekend. When we got there it was Rabia, Mike, Rafay, his girlfriend and us. We sat outside and talked for a while. Eventually went inside and got stuff to eat. Lol at Mikes brownies & Alex eating apples. Listened to music and hung out in Rabias room more people came eventually, but Alex and I left. Stopped by my house for some new clothes so I could stay at Alexs again. We played Halo 3 at his house lol..I suck sooo bad. We played with a couple of his friends from work and I could barely kill anyone. I didn't even feel tired at all, but I managed to fall asleep and when Alex woke me up later on I had noo idea what was going on.
Got up fairly early on Sunday. We had slept like 12 hours for two days in a row, made up for my losses of sleep during the week though. We had some bagels from Dunkin Donuts for breakfast/lunch. I love old people who limp through drivethroughs. There was some parade/festival going on around the D&D we went to and everyone decided to like shortcut through the drive-through like idiots. Headed to The Gamm after eating. We got there a bit early. Alex bought these vanilla yogurt covered raisins and I loved them..he spilt half of them with his usual lanky, clumsyness. The play was soo good. I like it a lot. We only paid $16 each because they have student discounts its regularly $34...I have finally put my CCRI Id card to a use lol..I had never used it for anything before this. Headed right to my house after the play. Laura came over and we travelled a good 2 hours to New Haven Connecticut to see Gogol Bordello. Well it was a good drive, made it there early, found a decent parking garage and walked about trying to find food. We found a ridiculous amount of Indian food restaurants, but nothing normal besides a Dunkin Donuts which we didn't want and a Subway which was closed at 7? Finally found a half way decent place. They had awesome bread lol. Left and walked our way back to Toad's Place and guess the fuck what?? The show was cancelled. Words couldn't explain my dissappointment I had been so excited for this night & had driven 2 hours to get there. Turned out Eugenes father had passed away and he needed to go back to his country. I feel like a bitch for being mad because its a good reason, but I'm so dissappointed we didn't get to see them after spending all that money on gas, food, tickets, parking. They said they may reschedule but I highly doubt it, so I'm looking into getting a refund. We couldn't find anything else to do so we drove all the way back home.
Today was bullshit really. I did Intro to Computers classwork until I had to go to work at 5. They had tried to call me in early, but I turned them down because I needed to get school work done and its a good thing I did. It was ridiculously busy, busiest day since last Xmas. I was sent to get stuff from Dunkin Donuts and Walmart because it was also the Family and Friend shopping night..which nobody showed up for lol. So anyways they paid for $60 of Dunkin Donuts stuff for nothing pretty much. The two girls at DD wanted to kill me with the order I made haha and i actually had to go back because I forgot to get the cups, cream & sugar that comes with each box of joe..yeah I don't order anything but bagels there so I wasn't aware of it. We didn't end up leaving until 10:45 it was insane I was ready to scream.
