This is the beginning of the craziest trip ever.
I am in Europe with my beautiful friend Michael Dicarlo and we are having an awesome time here in London. We are actually leaving for Amsterdam tonight and Im really looking forward to it.
London is a great town, I really enjoyed being here, however what I didnt enjoy is the ridiculous prices that this city lives by. I mean the pound is almost as much as two dollars, therefore it is very easy for your money to be eaten within days. You really gotta be careful. All in all I had a great time. Mike and I went to Picadilly Circus last night. There was a bongo and djembe group playing there for hours. It was quite a spectacle, some people tried dancing to it and it was funny. I met this Spanish girl that didnt know much english and I tried to talk en Espanol to her. That was really funny as well but we had a simple conversation. I later split up with Mike because he wanted to go back to the hostel. While wandering alone I ran into a Christian music group that was singing and dancing while playing instruments on the corner of a street. As I began to talk to them I discovered that this group was lead by a Polish dude. He was really cool and I had a conversation with him about different aspects of religion, then I played bongos with all the music people. It was quite a funny experience.
When I resumed my journey I took a wrong turn and got lost on some empty street. I asked a dude if he knew where he was and he pointed me in the right direction. I met I few people on the way home, but what really made that night great is that I found a five pound bill just chillin on the side of the road. I got very very happy and bought myself a bag of drum tobbaco, because I ran out of cigarettes and had no money to buy more.
I took a very unnecessarly long route home and listened to the whole Point album by Harry Nilsson. It was a nice night and I will have more of them in Amsterdam.
I mike and I chilled in Hyde park the next day. We both had our big backpacks so we couldnt really do anything too active. We left for the Airport at around 300 and arrived there at 420. We were quite hungry at the airport but the delicious sandwich we recieved on the plane was very satisfying. WE GOT TO AMSTERDAM! We rushed to the baggage claim and got our stuff. We took a train to the central station in amsterdam. Upon exiting the metro, my sleeping bag was mysteriously stolen from me. I got verry pissed off at the situation and had to roll a cigarette to calm down a little. After doing so Mike and I began our journey to find Mike;s hostel. I didnt book one but I was hoping I could spend my first night in Michael's. I decided not to care and gave mike the leading stick to find the hostel. One thing I must say is that you should never let Mike lead the way in any moderately difficult journey situation. He will make you lost as ever.
Anyway, we found the hostel, however there wasnt a spot for me. We were told to come right before the curfew which was at 200 AM, in order to see if someone didnt sow up for their reservation. We then went down to the main town sqare and I tried using my phone cards to call you guys. It didnt work. I was wondering how much a joint was or hoe much per gram. So Mike decidied to just go check it out. He came back with two of the most delicious huge joints. We then proceded to smoke one of them in the coffee shop close by. Mike and I came out extremely high and searching for food. I was quite late so we didnt know if we could fill our stomachs with hot delicious food. I had money and was willing to pay for a feast. We began our search for food and soon we found ourselves right in the middle of the red light district and were immedietly attacked by many groups and individuals tring to sell us hard drugs. We were in awe of this place. We walked further down the interesting street looking at the window displays of sex stores and prostitutes. We werent too familiar with the streets so we got a bit lost. It was about 1.20 at this time and we had to be back before 2.00 for Mike's curfue at the hostel. We tried to find it but we got completely lost. We got the the hostel around 3 and it was closed. We then decided to find a place to rest. The bench was a teal blue stone glazed work of art. We smoked a joint and I rolled a cigarette. We took a little nap and decided to change location. We found an interesting statue and napped. We decided that around 7 mike will go back to his hostel and I will find the campground I was supposed to stay at. I left on a 1.5 hour venture with my 35 pound bag on my back. I got to what I thought to be the camping site. I asked a man. It wasnt the site at all and I was pissed. I then took the metro back to Centraal Station. I decided to just relax, so I bought some food and a bottle of wine. I stopped at an Internet cafe and smoked a joint. I left and drank about half of the wine. I ate some Space Cake, and just passed out somewhere. A nice girl brought me into the shade and gave me a bottle of sugar water and wished me a great journey. I forgot that the concert was that day ubtill then. I thought about Mike and rushed to the Concert site to meet him. I got there just in time for Damian Marley and Shawn Paul. It was amazing. I met some cool people and talked alot while smoking joints. I kept looking for Mike but I couldnt find him. After the show I grabbed my big bag and waited outside the venue for Mike but he never came. I didnt know what to do, so I walked to Mikes hostel and founf him there quite angry.
The next day I ate some fresh mushrooms and smoked many bowls. Mike took some Philosopher's Stone, and I took some mexican mushrooms cause those were reccomended for first time trips. we got some bikes so we could go places. My trip was increddible. It was just the most visual experience I have ever had.
I will continue with this story At a later time
Have a great Summer
