Location: Sebastian's house(HA! living person in the house...Drusilla can't go in)
Description: Reunion of two souls
Angel: Angel had settled to laying on the floor. The lamp just shining over him. His legs were bent at the knee making sure to keep himself in the circle of light. His head thunked against the wood floor, methodic with the ticks of the clock.
Xander:Xander was just dropping Cordelia off at Sebastian's place. "He's inside, waiting for you, I wish I could share in the reunion, but I gotta get back to Buffy's, feel free to stop by, I'm sure we've got a bed or two open."
Cordelia: Cordelia arched her eyebrow at her designation. She briefly wondered if she should have brought a stake or something, her head turned as Xander spoke," I'll remember that. Hey, Xander, think you could give Harm a call for me? You know, to let her know, I'm not dead or anything." With that, Cordelia scribbled a number down and held the card out to Xander.
Xander: Xander nodded and took the card, "Good, I've got a number now. She's next on my list to get out of there. I just hope she doesn't spill about your absense to Sebastian. Thanks Cord, I'll let her know immediately." Xander took off down the street with a wave. He took a deep breath thanking the stars she was safe.
Cordelia: Cordelia's head turned back around to this place before she inhaled and pushed open the door," Hello? Anyone home?" She called, preparing herself for anything.
Angel: Angel's head picked up and he made a scramble for the shadows, but quickly recoiled into the light at the sound of sizzling skin. "Yeow!" Angel resigned him to muttering as Sebastian's body sat back down. "In here Cordelia."
Cordelia: She lifted an eyebrow to that voice, wasn't she meant to run away from that voice? She made a mental note to haunt Xander in the next life if this wound up getting her killed, she moved through the house, her heels as always clicking against the ground as she walked before she poked her head in and her eyes widened as Sebastian seemed to be sat in a circle of light," Uh.."
Angel: "Hi honey...miss me?" Angel groaned, "It's me Cordy, it's Angel and I've got peachy news. I can't go into the shadows." Sebastian's hand slapped to his face and rubbed it, "The universe is having a cosmic joke with my soul."
Cordelia: Cordelia slipped into the room, shutting the door behind her. The words sounded like Angel but the voice and the body, oh dear lord. She trailed over to where he was sat and ran her eyes over him.
Angel: Sebastian's hand went to reach out to her, but he stopped thinking how bad of an idea that was. "Hi honey, you're doing well?" Angel rested his head on the arm on his knee.
Cordelia: Very slowly, Cordelia crouched down in front of Sebastian's body and peered at him yet again, her eyes sought those strange eyes and then she blinked," Oh my God...It is you.."
Angel: Sebastian's head nodded slowly, "Not too bad huh? That apocalypse brat sure got a pair on her." Angel sniffled, "So how bad was I?"
Cordelia: " You had sex with Eve on her desk, in full view of the office." Cordelia commented softly, shifting forward so she was within the circle of light. She raised a hand and trailed it over the side of Sebastian's face, this was so weird. To see Sebastian on the outside but see Angel in his eyes.
Angel: "And I let Eve live. Son of a..." Angel gave a strangled cry, but felt relieved by her touch. "I told a few people before trying to get you out, I was worried about what he might do if he found out I was doing something. If I had been a little faster, that could have been avoided."
Cordelia: Cordelia let her hand drop away to rest on her knee," It was disturbing to say the least."
Angel: "Disturbing...I gotta burn that body now." Sebastian scowled, "I'm sorry. I'm horribly sorry."
Cordelia: " I don't know, I'm kinda attached to that body." Cordelia commented with a bemused expression on her face, exhaling a breath to sit back down on the ground.
Angel: Angel sighed, "Sweetheart, this has really gotten out of control. I'm not able to go into the shadows. I'm not in my body. I'm about to lose it." Sebastian sighed, "Now, I've gotta go and get Buffy's group in on this. Hopefully Xander will help with that."
Cordelia: Cordelia arched one eyebrow slowly," I guess someone will have to keep an eye on Sebastian then. Especially as you can't go into the shadows."
Angel: "Oh no...I already got that covered, I knew you'd do this. I've already talked to Wes and Eve. I'm sure they're going to do just fine." Sebastian gave a wicked smile for his quick thinking.
Cordelia: " Wes' disappeared." Cordelia answered with a slight frown before she sneered," And how exactly is Eve fucking your body, her watching Sebastian?"
Angel: Sebastian's jaw hit the floor, "Disappeared?!" He scowled again, deeper than before. "I believe the universe hates me, we could get Harmony to do it." Angel sounded optimistic, but it was false and horribly hidden.
Cordelia: Cordelia nodded her head," I guess. I don't see why I can't do it." She shrugged her shoulders, shoving her hair behind her ears, she might as well do something useful with her time.
Angel: Sebastian rubbed at his face, "I doubt I'm going to be able to talk you out of it. F...Then you can't sleep there. You are to go home every night...to either Buffy's house or here. I am NOT going to ask you to stay near him." Angel sighed, she was too damn smart for her own good.
Cordelia: " Is that an order?" Cordelia asked, lifting one eyebrow. She ruffled her hair and simply slipped her heels off and curled her legs up towards her chest. She was slightly concerned, she hadn't had a vision in such a long time, especially with the bringer being all the more active, surely she should have seen something by now.
Angel: Sebastian's body moved to sit closer to her, "I am not about to risk your life for some of this. It's not worth it in my eyes." He pulled his knees to his chest, "It's too quiet and I am worried." His head dipped to his knees, "I'm scared Cordy."
Cordelia: This caused Cordelia to arch her eyebrow, Angel? scared? Surely not, she turned her head to look at him," Why scared?"
Angel: "I'm in no position to protect anyone. I am in honestly, the weakest position I've ever been in." Angel sighed, "The only person that I can worry about is myself, and I don't even do that on a normal basis. Everyone I worry about is now in trouble and the one I hate the most is now in my power and can use it."
Cordelia: Cordelia frowned, reminding herself, that this wasn't Sebastian sitting beside her, it was Angel. The man she loved, so what if he had another face. She moved her hands to the side of Sebastian's face and raised it so she could look Angel in the eye, she gripped for a moment as she said." It will be okay, one way or another. It will be okay, we've been through worse and no matter what happens, we'll pull through together, just like in the past and just like in the future."
Angel: Angel couldn't believe it, she was looking at him, not just the body, at Angel. It was amazing, she was amazing, "I...I'm sorry I doubted us." was all he could manage coherently. He grabbed her and pulled to a hug, his head burried in her shoulder.
Cordelia: She put her arms around him, this hug felt strange as it was a different body but it was Angel so she stroked a hand through Sebastian's hair. It was strange," We all have those moments Angel, if we didn't, we wouldn't be human..or in your case, a vamp with a soul."
Angel: Angel nodded, he pulled his head back, "Thanks, that means a lot, especially coming from an ex-Higher Being." Angel sniffled, then coughed, trying to hide it, "It's getting late, go in there..." Angel pointed to the bed room, "Get some rest, I'm sure there's something to wear, and we'll talk some more, also so I can move around a bit more."
Cordelia: " Being a Higher being was really boring and sucked a hell of a lot." Cordelia muttered with a faintly amused expression before she got to her feet and moved over to the bedroom he was pointing out. Okay Sebastian might be an evil vampire but he did enjoy the finer things in life.
