Personally, I don't think she's using the word "whore" as an insult, I think she literally means whore (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/whore)

that's been discussed pretty extensively in the comments, and the idea seems to be that no matter her intention with the word whore, it's still problematic because she's projecting her own idea of what kind of sexuality is "right" onto everyone else, which isn't fair

I still don't see how being a whore/prostitute is a certain kind of sexuality. As you said in one of your comments, most women don't get into prostitution because they want to feel sexy. I see it as an exploitation and horrible spot for a woman to be put into.

And I guess stating an opinion is projecting a belief onto everyone else? Then I don't think its fair that you are projecting your idea of what Z really meant onto everyone else.

That wasn't real and a terrible way to express what I think about what your wrote. But I think it is along the same vein of what you said. And I'm tired. And I do value yours and have thought about what you and hector_rashbaum have written in your comments.

She never called anyone a whore, she just said there are artists who dress like actual whores.

i didn't express myself very well in the comment you replied to with this, but what i meant was that, what i interpret from the text (which obvs isn't what you interpret, and that's fine) z is saying that femininity is the right kind of sexuality while the kind of sexuality displayed by female pop acts is wrong. i hope this makes sense even if you disagree with it because i'm pretty tired of dwelling on this
