you just can't be a feminist while tearing down another woman for doing what she wants. being a feminist isn't about embracing femininity or being more ~butch or what have you. It's about doing what you want as a woman because you want to, whether it be being conservatively dressed and being a stay at home mom or flaunting your sexuality in public or chasing whatever career you please. If women keep trying to act holier than other women and slut shaming, we're not going to progress anywhere
i think she has a really confused sense of what feminism is, along with a big ego (disclaimer: i don't think big egos are exclusively bad things). it also seems like they quite encourage people to talk about what they look like in interviews, because they're literally going for the "whole package" with the music/sound/style of the 60's. i have never seen a boyfriend mentioned in an interview, except either 1) by z herself or 2) mentions of mark ronson, who produced their album. again: ego.
I also don't get what any of what you just said has to do with her statement? I mean I'm not really focusing on when she mentioned the boyfriend thing cause *shrug*
i wasn't talking about the whore statement there, it was more of a general statement about everything else that's wrong with this article lol. it probably would've fit better in it's own comment instead of a reply to you

I'm pretty disappointed as well. I was not expecting this from her.
