Today I cried while on the phone with Apple tech support due to the stress of not being able to turn on my iBook and all it implied (losing iCal and iTunes might make me consider faking ritual suicide). I didn't hear about the battery recall when everyone else did, apparently. The very Canadian-sounding lady was really nice about it, though. My computer is OK. I will be annoyed if the replacement battery does take 4-6 weeks to arrive, however.
