one night a few summers ago... when i used to do mushrooms every weekend for about 1 month.. I ran into Margo downtown. My friends had all ditched me with looks of fear and bad trips on their faces.. I was just revelling in my own insanity.. when I ran into Margo.. oddly enough.. she was also on shrooms! What do you know.. so we just decided to walk around the late hours of the night and explore the downtown core as never before...
anyway.. things were certainly overstimulating.. but the one thing I remember the most is when we were walking down an alley downtown.. and we noticed that a manhole cover was off its position.. it was indeed an odd site.. seeing there wasn't any construction going on and no one was around..
for some reason.. we both decided it would be a good idea to crawl into the sewers and see what we could find down there..
now.. if you think the sewers are scary when your sober.. just imagine what its like when you are on mushrooms! anyway.. we walked around the underground waterworks system for hours..
personally.. from what I can remember.. i couldn't stop talking about what kind of chances we would have at finding Ninja Turtles.. or a giant rat.. I kept looking everywhere just to see if I would find an empty pizza box.. or something..
anyway.. it didn't take very long for me to revert to my old self and start freaking out about what was going on.. not knowing where in time I was.. what happened yesterday.. where tomorrow was? all that nonsense bullshit.. so once I felt the bad trip come on.. Margo and I decided we needed to get out of the sewers and head home..
I popped out the first sewer opening I could find.. which luckily enough.. was right at my house.. Margo decided to trek to her house in the sewers.. so she left.. Oddly enough.. I remember this really well.. when she left.. she was now on a skateboard! WTF!
