Rainy and Cold......Woot! October!
So, October has finally hit with a resounding squish! I haven't seen the local weather guessers' latest attempt at predicting what will happen this week, but if this is it, then--yeeesh!
Oh well, if you can't work outside, then you work inside, right? At least we'll have plenty of hot water to use--Yes, Lachlan the Wonder Husband installed the new water heater, and it only took about 3 times longer than he thought! He's getting better at estimating time involved in unpleasant activities!
So, plans for this week: Sewing! Getting my damned banner finished--finally! Finishing the necessary items for next weekend's RenFaire demo! Setting up Halloween decorations! And if the weather improves, finishing the cold frames for my winter garden, and planting! Not in my plans for this week: Pain! Fibromyalgia! Unpleasantness! Martian Invasion! Visits from Lachlan's Mother! (Which is never in his plans!)
Okay *rubbing hands together* Time to get off my ass, which is expanding as we speak, and get busy! Although, if you ask me, Gus has the right idea:
Oh yeah, and the Rainy Day Revelation for today is "If I don't stop gaining weight, I'm going to have to embrace the Nudist Life 'cause I'm running out of clothes!"
