Today I went out shopping for jeans. :| My mother always throws out my jeans when I'm not paying attention because she thinks they're too old. It's not like I'm growing anymore, peh.
The unfortunate thing is that Limited Too, where I used to get all my jeans (size 10½ childrens) is out of business. D: Stupid economy, ruining my wardrobe!
For the uninitiated, a childrens size 10½ is equivalent to a childrens size 16 waist w/ childrens size 10 length OR juniors size 3 waist w/ juniors size 0 height OR adults size 0 waist w/ size -3 height. WHICH DOESN'T EXIST. I think adults size 0 is size 2 uk? I dunno. But it sure sounds more stockable.
Luckily (I guess) Justice has picked up Ltd. Too's clothing, designs and sizes. Actually they totally were a total Ltd. Too ripoff to begin with, but now that they have my sizing I guess it's gonna be Justice from now on. My dad and I went there and there was literally only one 10½ in the entire store.
Now you may be thinking, say Wekh, aren't you a college student? Ltd. Too and Justice are totally for Tweens. Which is true. But hrngh, unless grown-up people stores start carrying size 0 bootcut slims for the short thin people out there I'm gonna buy kids' clothes. >:| They're cheaper, anyway.
Then we went to Old Navy and it turns out they are also beginning on the plus sizes for children! Why you so fat, America? So I picked up some 12+ jeans and was quite pleased with myself. :3
The guy in the dressing room at Old Navy was pretty cool. He was all "is that colour in your hair natural" and I says "yeah I just got white hair" and he's like "that's awesome! Just like Rogue from X-men" and I say "haha that's what people say but it's not the right place" and he's all "well you're rockin' it anyway! High five!"
So I gave him a high five and felt silly while I tried on some jeans. :3
In other news, sometimes I can't figure out how my mom has a phd in math stuff because lately
she can't do math worth beans. And then she has the gall to tell me to study geometry. .___.
So
dragonsofavalon wanna meet in the city on Wednesday? We're gonna visit my aunt, maybe you could come have lunch or something?
