Tempo 1: Heart of Dance
Couple: Lettuce
Rating :PG-13
Practice. It was a normal event in their lives to go through a routine and being part of the celebrity world of singers/dancers they had to work hard with the limited time they were given.
So here they were Hyun Joong quickly coming back from Japan to Korean to film We Got Married and to practice the routine in under he 2 day limit they had. This was the shot they both were looking for to steal away the images and hearts and to become famed with the show.
It was scary how closely their goals were almost entwined. The show normally picked those celebrities and pair them together making sure that the differences were great that there wasn’t a portion of a chance for falling into love.
What they didn’t realize was that the human heart was something entirely difficult to control.
Sweat was sliding down both celebrities body. Hyun Joong was panting hard, even if he was younger then 6 years the dance mix of techtonik was a high aerobic dance that required movement of hands, head, and legs coupled with arms. It wasn’t easy and the instructor was going through the routine repeatedly with Hyun Joong training him as fast as he would. Whereas Hwang Bo sat off the side resting since she had already done a majority of rehearsal since it was featuring both of them. The backup dancers already packed up and left only leaving the two behind with the instructor.
A call for practice being over came over the dance studio. Standing up Hwang Bo made her way to her false hubby and patted his face dry with the towel while handing over a bottle of water.
Exhaustion clearly on his face making her heart twitch in empathy. “You want to take a break?” Unable to look into the other’s eyes because it took too much effort and she was fully exhausted.
“No. I’ll stay here for another hour.” Hyun Joong responded with a slight cough after swallowing too much water.
“Mmm….okay.” Getting up steadily Hwang Bo walked to the CD Player, “I’ll stay to help.”
“It’s okay if you are tired.”
“Shilang…don’t you remember what I promised you when we began this…” Hwang Bo turn to smile at the still posed form on the floor. “No matter what anyone else says, let’s just trust one another.”
Embarrassed Hyun Joong nods his head, “Aa---”
Tempo 2: Paper Love
Walking down the isle of the airport Hyun Joong breathes in the air and sighed at the thought of being once again in Seoul. Pushing his cart forward he made an note behind his sunglasses to look over and ensure that his guitar case was there. Another bag that contained the precious items he needed for We Got Married was stowed away safely in his fanny pack.
Already the flight was causing his sleeping patterns to go haywire. Coupled with staying up late to fold paper cranes was making him lose the precious amount of sleep that he enjoy. As for folding paper he forgot how painful it could be. The numerous amount of paper cuts on his hands lasted for a few weeks was absolutely grueling and playing the guitar for the special was hard because of the band aid on his finger. The members of SS501 teased him for his dedication to his Lady General. If they only knew how much time he tried to squeeze in just for his Lady.
They offered to help originally but he refused. A small portion of his mind did wonder about their motive behind their nice offer since they normally wouldn’t have done anything without a small price. The other members were like his brothers and like normal they always like to do pranks on people. It also didn’t feel right if he let them assist him in his developments after all didn’t Buin stay up late at night to knit him that scarf. Unfortunately he kept on finding cranes being stuffed in plastic bags on top of his dresser each day. It made him thankful for those four-because he seriously couldn't have finished up folding the cranes for HwangBo's birthday. He would have like to try his best to be the man that he promised her that he would be.
All those broken promises in the past he made created discord of guilt so he at least wanted to give her something concrete. It wasn’t just the thought that counted in his world-but the solidarity of the trust to promises that would form the bond he was suppose to share in this marriage.
Yet-even if he planned things out accordingly a small part of him felt embarrassed. It wasn’t normal to get this hyped up about a filming but he does enjoy Hwang Bo’s smile and laughter’s.
He never could tell anyone but seeing her lips curve upward and that full robust sound of happiness was a gift. Whether it was the innocence of her gestures and he earnest wants and desires that linger in his eyes he couldn’t be sure. Each paper crane he folded was a symbolism of each laughter he wishes to grant her. Each moment that they would be able to spend together even if hey were too busy to see one another. He was simply thankful that he at least got to be closer to her at one point in his life.
Settling into the van that was readied or him after shoving his stuff into the back except for his fanny pack and guitar. Closing his yes in near exhaustion as the vehicle pulled out with all those people still attempting to take photographs of him. He relaxed and tried to sleep.
There lingered a problem in his sleeping habits--each time he went to sleep late due to slight insomnia he couldn’t wake up in the morning. It was affecting his ability to perform and he wasn’t really happy with that aspect. Placing a note to buy some sleeping pills later on he slowly slip into a light dose in the van.
Tomorrow was another day of filming but at least he could heart and see those candy smiles and warm eyes that only smile up to him whereas for others they would be burned by the fierceness of her passion, his Lady Buin.
