This week over 600 dogs were seized from local puppy mills, and since most of them are pregnant, that number will soar.
Of course there are responsible breeders who do treat their dogs well, but without the market for selling animals we would not have atrocities like this, and with front operations like this family used, it's hard to know what's behind how your animal was raised. Not to mention the number of dogs euthanized in shelters daily due to lack of homes.
