Cleaning up
I took last Friday off and had some work done on the car. Saturday I hauled a crapLoad of stuff to the municipal dump, then made a tangent line for the office. Yeah I know, not a place anyone likes to visit on a weekend but this was for me...
I wheeled in suitcases full of confidential paper, like stuff with credit card information, bank account and social security numbers on it. My parents passed down to me a bad habit of filing everything. I had records from 15 years ago and no mistake. Report cards from university and highschool, which had the unfortunate curse of bearing my SSN. So it all went, everything. On Thursday night I burned what I couldn't pass off as office paper. That fire burned for four hours until it was time for bed. The rest went into the "sensitive material" lock boxes for shredding at my office.
Sunday was for friends, and enjoying the HOT weather.
