The first battle challenge-- the prompt-and-fills-challenge--remains open and in play until close of battle on June 21. Keep posting prompts and fills and earning points! Battle challenge #3 ends June 14 11:59pm CST.
BATTLE CHALLENGE #4 BEGINS NOW, AND POINTS CAN BE EARNED FROM IT UNTIL SUNDAY, JUNE 21, 11:59PM CST.
In this challenge, you have two themes to pick from this week. You can write as many fics/create as many artworks as you like on either (or both) of these themes (you can even combine the themes if you like). Fics must be at least 1,500 words; art/other works must be of a comparable time/creativity investment.
(One cannot combine challenge #1 and challenge #4 to receive combined points; state which challenge you are posting for, and points will be assigned accordingly. In fairness, retroactive points cannot be assigned if you change your mind in future.)
THEME: Death
Rage against the dying of the light--or not. Kill your characters, or have them deal with another's death. Or maybe you'll be exploring the afterlife?
Now is your chance to embrace the deathfic, and tell your anguished readers it's all the fault of the theme! ;)
THEME: At Last
"I found a thrill to press my cheek to~" This theme is about lovers finally getting together. Maybe this is the "love" part of the love/hate relationship finally kicking in. Maybe it's a reunion after a long time. Maybe it's setting eyes on that someone special after too long searching. Or maybe it's another kind of requited love--you decide!
