Returns rolling in

Mar 15, 2010 21:41

The last few days have seen more of the complex and therefore, higher fee returns coming in. I have a pretty good record of sealing the deal--only 1 out of 170 clients failed to complete their return. The man never brought in his mortgage info to finish it. He obviously didn't like when I wouldn't estimate expenses for him (He would've overstate property taxes by $1000, which are easily verifiable on the city web site.

Incompetent Manager only had me scheduled to work 3 days this week. To get around that nonsense, I schedule clients when I'm not on the off days. Hey, the district manager has always stated, "If you have appointments, you can work." So a big "Up Yours" to Incompetent Manager, who phoned in today that she was busy "marketing" and would be in later. AFAIK, she showed up after Kim and I left.

Anyway, there's a month to go in tax season. Let's hope the last 30 days are better than the first part of the year.

Llama is going back to the Triangle to visit his Chibis this weekend.
