Slow in the snow

Yet another winter storm pased through, dumping three inches of wet slushy snow on the roads. Many of the counties are running out of salt to put on the roads and are mixing their remaining stock with sand to make it last longer. Anyway, what would have been a busy day turned into one of inactivity as I had two appointments cancel. Both were senior citizens who were right not to go out in this weather. So after I finished all of my catch-up work, I went home at 2 pm.

I have an eye doctor appointment tomorrow morning, but I'm going to call and reschedule it. I hate driving on snowy roads.
