Parker was wandering the hallways, trying to pick out good places to hang posters for various people, when she saw the open door. Poking her head in, she smiled. "Hey. Weiss."

"Parker. Come on in." He walked the dog and then put the yo-yo aside. "How's it going?"

[mparkerceo]

"Not too badly. Had the Club Fair today, and only wanted to shoot someone once." Parker wandered in, looking around at his place, and smiling. "Who have you got for a roommate? And are you un-hung-over now? I caught part of that on the Radio, but no details."

[weissguy_]

"Ah, yeah. The post-Jaye hangover. I'm good now." Eric delicately avoids the roommate question.

"Oh, you were drinking with *Jaye*," Parker said, laughing and distracted by his comment. "I'm amazed you didn't have a quick trip to the Clinic in there somewhere. She's got an amazing ability to put it away. And stay coherent at the same time."

"I am large and stocky and from fine liquor-holding genetics," Weiss said. "The drink drank us under the table before we were able to outdo each other."

Parker snickered. "Sorry I missed it, it sounds like you had fun. Oh, and I saw your posters-- running for juniore class rep? Very cool." She perched on one of the chairs, and stretched out her legs, starting to relax. "I'm well out of it, but I hope you guys have fun."

"It could be cool to win, but I can take or leave it," Weiss said.

"Good attitude. As per usual." She grinned, twisting the chair back and forth with one foot. "I got way too into it last year. Did you do anything like this at your last school?"

[weissguy_]

"Me? No. Sophomore last year. Student council was a big election with offices. It was a mess. I had to duck just to avoid the politics."

"Not unlike here, last year, but there were other things at stake." Parker shook her head. "So did you sign up for any of the Clubs at the Fair? I didn't see you at the Gun Club table, but I wasn't there the whole time."

"Nah, I'm skipping on clubs. Between being a TA and the radio gig, I thought I'd hold out to see if I got the Council gig. If I don't... then I'll probably just chill," Weiss said. "Maybe thing work out with me and Jaye, then." That wasn't just a little hope in his voice, no.

"Hunh." Parker looked interested. "You and Jaye? Was this at the speeddating thing?" Her expression soured for a moment, but she said, "I wouldn't have thought that was a good place to meet someone. But I like being wrong, in this case."

[weissguy_]

"Yeah. She had me mortify my mother. Best date ever, seriously," Eric said. "Seemed to go well, but I dunno." He scratched his neck. "I'm a guy. We're incapable of telling these things."

Parker stared at him a moment, then grinned. "I am so glad to hear one of you admit that. Seriously. Although for Jaye, I think that's par for the course. And dare I ask *how* this mortification was accomplished?"

"Called her up, explained to her that I just met a girl, and that I was going to make out with her and possibly see her naked," Weiss said with a shrug.
