first of all, thank you all for joining! seriously, scribblinlenore and i am blown away by your enthusiasm and excitement. stay tuned for a mod post later, but for now, have more goodies!
it's struck me that some of you might not have yet heard the glory that was johnny's appearance on outQ radio with host frank decaro. which is a horrible shame, and i wish to rectify it post-haste.
decaro is a radio host and comedian, who also was the emcee at this year's stars, strikes and skates, a memorial show in honor of the victims of 9/11. (apparently johnny had something to do with him being part of it.) here's an interview with johnny from over the summer where he talks about the event, and also about developing his routine, which eventually he performed last week in vancouver.

After all that, Gosselin's actual participation in the show wound up lasting less than a minute.
Near the beginning of the show, she stepped out to a crowd chanting her name and introduced Derrick Delmore. And that was it.
"She did her little speech in the beginning of the show and left," Weir says. "Kate Gosselin was playing the diva act…I was disappointed to meet her and I was so disappointed she was involved in the show. It was such a waste."
ooooh, burn! you know that when johnny calls you a diva, shit is NOT GOOD.
