Hello everyone, just wanted to say been a little busy, working still, watching a couple of movies, oh and I graduated!:D I honestly didn't think it was going to be a big deal, and was slightly surprised, it would've been a complete surprise (because I can be slightly oblivious) if my mother hadn't asked me which font for my diploma I thought looked better (which in the end she chose anyway and didn't need my input at all;P), then we got to the park for our little pot luck, and some woman brought a cap and gown, while my mother brought the tassle she had made, and we grilled hot dogs, and six people handed me cards with money in it, while somebody just flat out gave me $20.
My mother and I were both surprised that people were handing me out money in these cards, it wasn't expected. And then my friends and I did the grilling, well actually one of them did the grilling, my other friend and I helped light the fire, and it was windy, so it kept going out and we had to re-light it, and brought a big brand new bottle of lighter fluid and now less than a quarter is left. It was fun, we sat on coolers and drank generic dr. pepper (dr. thunder), and waited for the charcoal to turn gray. After we all ate, I got in the robe, and walked down the pavilion to my mother while everybody hummed/sang hail to the chief or the actual graduation music, either way, it was really cool, and I got my diploma from my mother and then made a speech, on the spot.
A friend of mine made me a cake, and that's pretty much it, don't know how to really describe it, it was just plain cool, and will be sending thank you cards to people now. As for bosses, my main one, the general manager, is being relocated to a busier store, and tomorrow is supposed to be his last day with us. He'll be missed, he's a very cool guy with a good attitude. And then two of my managers are up for a promotion, and have interviews soon, so if they get promoted to general manager then they'll most likely be relocated since we'll have a general manager already. and the third one, I don't know, but that's 3 out of 4 people I've been working for that are going away, I know I've only been working for about a month and a half, but I'm going to really miss them all.
Anyway, I'm going to go watch one of the movies I rented, on a related note, Hairspray is one of the stupidest musicals I've ever seen, who in the world thought that John Travolta would play a convincing woman?
Eta: Was just listening to Stevie Nicks, which made me think about this really funny spoof that Lucy Lawless did for SNL once.
