[IC Journal - Ezidran] Written Journal Entry - "Bloodworms and You"
The bloodworms I have hosted in my body are doing all right and adapting well to Dynast's blood samples. The few pints of blood are more than enough.
Rather than letting them consume the pints of blood directly, I have decided to do a small blood transfusion for them to adapt better to Darkfallen blood. I don't want them to think those blood samples are new treats or something. I needed them to slowly apt to the new flush of blood they will be getting and the new organs I will acquire later for a transplant.
Naturally, I needed the bloodworms to accept my new organs and not have them think they are foreign bodies and thus, edible. I don't like the idea of being eaten inside out by my own bloodworms, even if it does very little to my body.
Organ trade is expensive. Dynast and I have decided to hunt for my own 'donors'. I thought it was a wonderful choice to have the Darkfallen as my 'organ donors'. They don't have to be -willing-.
I will need more help, also.
On the topic of blood transfusing my bloodworms, the procedure was quite difficult. Injecting, hooking them up on 'mini-blood transfusion devices' and 're-flushing' their blood circulation. I wasn't too worried about their survival as they are very resilient creatures, even if they die, I would be able to spawn another from a slain enemy or corpse.
Contrary to what many think of me, I really dislike doing this. I, too, feel repulsed by myself and what I am capable of as a Disciple of Blood. I don't show it, often but initially, I was very disgusted by the fact I could house bloodworms, all snug inside my torso. Even as I am transfusing blood for my bloodworms right now, I had to hold in my disgust for... myself. Lords, I am not doing all these in front of Dynast too, he's just as repulsed by the sight as well.
When I first broke off from the Lich King's hold, without a single memory of my Scourge days, I had to -accept- all of these in a day. "Hey Ezidran, your guts are puking out fucking worms." - Great, I know that. It's fucking fantastic, isn't it?
I feel so revolted by my own rotting, 'bloodworm-nest' body, at times. I try not to think of it as something fucking disgusting, really, really hard.
'Til Lord Thorval, the Disciple of Blood trainer, had taught me that they are necessary to my survival. I am a Blood death knight, after all. Why should I feel repulsed by the power and abilities I can wield?
They mend my flesh, restore my health and strength and chew off my enemies' limbs. I like that. I can live with that.
I just hope they will continue to do so when Dynast implants new organs for me and have them accept the transplant well.
It's been a busy week. I managed to uncover the ruins beneath Icecrown Glacier where the former Sin'dorei army had stationed there to defeat the Lich King back in Year 21. I smelled magic there and I believe there might be a good source of clues to Dynast's past as a spellweaver in Prince Kael'thas' army. Problem is, the Scarlet Onslaught asses are occupying the place and setting up camps there. I brought Zain to have a look at it, he said he has come up with a good plan to rid of them. I also talked to Corporal Harper before in getting her help (I gave her a kitten too), she seems keen about it. I just need to contact through this 'throat-microphone' thingy that Valaeli has given me.
Zain will be scheduling a discussion on strategy soon, he said he will be mailing the parties involved.
I just wish he would stop yelling, rather, thinking aloud on our communicator rings. It's rather blaring and my head has been hurting these days, I haven't gotten any new poison 'cocktails' done for our plans because of this. The Forsaken prescribed some 'special pills' for me, Zaifar speculates that the 'Otherside' is returning very gradually; the headache's one of the symptoms or side-effects to it.
No matter. I have a lot of work to do for Dynast.
