Q: hey, how's the med school application process going?
A: great! i turned all of them in and am just waiting to hear back from 13 schools about interviews and from UCSF about the secondary application.
Q: how's your aunt in idaho (the one with cancer)?
A: she's doing fine, it's looking like she's got a while (maybe even 1 or 2 years).
Q: how's the fam?
A: dad's great, kev's back from his third trip to peru and is living/working in santa cruz, mom's great and i'll see her in a month.
Q: how's work at the lab?
A: i'd say being listed 3rd out of 8 authors in an upcoming paper and having the American Association for the Advancement of Science call me "Dr. Burns" is pretty exciting!
