Arusha

So we ended up walking past the Louvre and seeing the Eiffel Tower from afar, and the obelisk. We caught a bus back to the airport (btw, the Paris airport SUCKS) and had to eat McDonalds for dinner. After an overnight to Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) we met up with two other girls from our group. We had a 2 hour flight to Kilimanjaro airport and the other half of the group met us there. Sadly, we couldn't see Mount Kilimanjaro because the clouds were too low. We got to drive through the outskirts of Arusha. It is so beautiful here. There are lots of sunflowers and banana trees, and dead corn stalks everywhere. The hostel we're staying at has a few crazy looking birds that walk around the grounds, one is a three-foot tall one with this porcupine-looking crest. The hostel is mostly made up of a bunch of thatched roof huts with hard wood floors, but we're staying in dorm-style rooms with an outdoor balcony connecting all of them. It's quiet and pleasant.

We go to the Annex (Cross-Cultural Solution's home base) tomorrow at 10am. I think I'm going to sleep until then.
