rafting was really fun this weekend. it felt REALLY good to be around friends from SD again. this weekend also opened my eyes to how much i've grown as a person this year and this summer, and how independent i've become. i'm really a lot more content being on my own than i used to be. still, it was so nice to be around friends. i feel like i need a few days off to decompress from this weekend. i go back to SD in two weeks. yikes! i don't know if i'm ready. i'm definitely ready to be around friends, but i'm not sure i've gotten to spend enough time with my friends from home. we've all been so busy. cristin leaves tomorrow. what will i do without katie k this year??? time presses on...
