The 5 minute report

Nov 10, 2006 12:49

So today ended my 4-month, rather eventful foray into the greek system here at WPI. Unfortunately, it ended for me, yet again, in disappointment - but to say that I am surprised would not be truthful.

I walked into that room today expecting nothing - upon receiving it there was an initial disappointment, but I'm not disappointed anymore. This is the way it was meant to be. I am being told, rather forcefully, that I should choose to spend my time on other endeavours. I should become a better viola player, a better dancer, a better friend and girlfriend, a better student, and not dwell upon rejection.

So, here I am now, waiting until it is time to play the Open House with the string quartet. I've decided to do a two-day ballroom dance camp (it seems rather like the ballet convention I went to a few years back with SBS) in early December, and I will take viola lessons and kick ass in my sufficiency. I will ace this term, and apply to a highly competative internship.

And... off I go :)
