long over-due update
so, things are going really well over here :).
Been working since the beginning of the summer... it's nice, because i'm leaning lots of new stuff about business and accounting... but i doubt i'll use that anytime but here, so oh well lol.
So... the hi-lites from the summer thus far:
*CHRIS VISITING!
That was an amazing weekend :). I wasn't sick and feeling gross this time, so we got to actually chill. We went to go see my sis's recital, which was fun but kinda depressing at the same time b/c I really wanted to be up on the stage with them. I miss ballet something bad, and don't even get me started on pointe lol. We also took a nice bike-ride down the bike path and chilled at the park at the end of it, aaaaaaaaaand went to go see X3, which was the second time for me but still really cool.
*Family vaca to rocking horse
This has to be my favorite vacation spot of all time. As my parents put it, it's the only place we've ever been more times than Disney. It's horseback riding, water skiing, banana boating, amazing food, and just being outdoors and active in general. If I could, i'd go for at least a weekend every year hehe - but it would probably lose some of it's charm if I were to go regularly. My whooooooooole family from dad's side was pretty much there - Me & the other 4 ppl in my family, 10 other adults (aunts, uncles, 2nd cousins) and allllllll 9 of my little cousins (minus the 3 in cali) + 3 other younger 2nd cousins. We were a big group... but we had fun :).
*Steve's grad party
Steve is my good friend Kate's boyfriend, and he just graduated HS. So, I was invited to his grad party, partially so Kate would have a friend there, and partially b/c i'm friends w/ him as well (for those who have seen my profile lately, he was one of the victims of shivahn's 'bananaduck' moment of insanity ;)). Even met a good friend of his who will be at WPI next year... and since Kate/Steve are going to school like 2 min from each other, me and Drew (the friend) can carpool down together and visit them :-D. Also met Drew's GF, who knows a friend of mine from when i was much younger, as well as a few other ppl just because it's a really small world. Hi-lite of that night - almost getting thrown in the pool. hehe.
So, now it's work... until maybe this weekend. Depending on if Chris is feeling better (:-/), I may go visit him and go w/ his family up to Maine for the weekend. Otherwise... i'll just have to see him the last weekend in July :).
I think that's the 5 min update... and the work day is officially starting in ilke 5 minutes, so i should probably hop to it :-D.
