Myself is going strong. I haven't really done much but I have done a huge amount of walking over the last few days, I should try and keep it up! I made up a tune to a Chesterton poem/song. Ned will probably like it as it is a song for England.
Saint George he is for England,
And before he killed the dragon,
He drank a pint of English ale
Out of an English flagon.
But though he fast right readily
In hair shirt or in mail,
It isn't safe to give him cakes,
unless you give him ale.
Saint George he is for England,
And freed quite readily,
The lady meant for dragon meat,
And tied up to a tree.
But since he stood for England,
And knew what England means,
Unless you give him bacon,
You musn't give him beans.
Saint George he is for England,
And his shield is worn before,
When we go out to battle,
With the battle cross before.
But since he stood for England,
But though he is jolly company,
And very pleased to dine,
it isn't safe to give him nuts,
unless you give him wine.
The tune is pretty simple but it was supposed to be a song which one of the characters thought up on the spot.
