Curse you, data bug!
Thanks to a lovely game called The Elder Scrolls: Online(affectionately known as ESO,) I have been bitten by the data entry bug. And I want more...
Bit of backstory; back in 2018 when I was recovering from being hit by a car, I started playing an online game my husband had bought for me, and I got pretty into it. Rapidly went through every zone, every quest, a ton of achievements, etc. One day I was running around and I saw this call go out in the zone chat. Long story short, I ended up being the records-keeper for this mafia-style roleplay guild. When I was shown the sheets I was to take care of at a lower position, I was a bit shocked they'd not been properly filled in. I went through and began populating the data, and noticed that I really enjoyed it. It's what landed me my promotion!
Now, I'm finding work at my current job too stressful. I know that the bulk of it is because we had Thanksgiving week from Hell, but I'm also coming to the realization that I can't continue to stay late every night by myself and maintain any semblance of sanity.
So I'm off to try and find something in data entry. Only problem is since the only experience I have is thanks to a video game, I'm not sure I can even get something. I've applied at a couple places, but who knows if I'll even hear back from them. And in the meantime I need to keep working at the bakery I'm at, since otherwise I have no way to pay all my bills. Yay.
