Yesterday, Ronald and I went to Netstop, where Alvin was supposedly playing computer games almost everyday. At around 2:30, we first went there, hoping to find Alvin and talk to him after three months of not seeing him. Unfortunately, we didn't find him; however, we got to talk to the owner of the computer shop, who turned out to be a classmate of Sir Robidillo and knew Alvin personally. According to him, Alvin was always in his shop playing Warcraft, and was very likely to be found there. Knowing that, we decided to visit Netstop again after Natsci.
We found Alvin..! As usual, he was wearing a black UP shirt and a red UP cap. Finally, we got to talk to him, asking him how his life is going. According to him, he's good, surviving, still in Intarmed. While not a part of our section, he is still taking similar classes, delayed one extra year. As a result, he has a lighter load. He seems happier than ever, befriending other regular customers in the shop. I'm glad that Alvin is more conversational than I had expected.
After half an hour, we said our goodbyes and left. It was a heartwarming experience. Even though we are not close to Alvin, we were still delighted to see him after all this time. Alvin, good luck and see you soon.
