You Can't Always Get What You Wa-uh-ant.

It's time for yet another depressing entry. What, did you think think that there were going to be two positive ones in a row? No such luck, people. NO SUCH LUCK.

Why don't we start with the fact that despite what I thought yesterday when first getting my report card, I did not get the 3.7 i was hoping for...or even a 3.6. I got a 3.58. Sucks? I think so. Oh sure, I made high honors for the whole year. And sure, a 3.58 is my highest GPA for the year, but it isn't high honors. Which means, my dad will not be rewarding me with an Ipod mini this month...or the next month...or the month before that...

I can't believe this. I thought I was a smart kid, for once in my life, i was close to being an overachiever. But, alas, Geometry killed my grade ONCE AGAIN. Take-home quizzes, my ass...Seriously, you think you have it made with a 93 test average, but NO! A little thing called the Take-home quiz has to exist in this cold world, and a 49 average in that will you bring your 93 all the way down to an 83. No 1,500 song, no 1,000 song...no nothing. Not even the satisfaction of a job well done.

See what happens when you set high goals for yourself? If you don't meet them just exactly, you ignore the progress and improvments you made, despite not making it quite there. I can't even appreciate the fact that my grades have been the best they've been since I started going to WCS in fourth grade, or that 3rd quarter i got a 69 in geometry and I still improved 14 points.

And so it really isn't about the ipod, because guess what? I'm seriously considering saving up for one with my job money...a real one. Silver lining? I think so. I'm still pissed about it though.

Oh, and to top it off, I'm not getting my first paycheck until NEXT WEDNESDAY.(Though I really shouldn't complain, it's goign to a check of about 200 smackers, and that's after taxes).

Talk about a total switch in moods this week.

I wish I could see him.

Hah, yeah okay ending with that little line would be lame-o-rific so I shall end with a quote that can be applied to my life as of now:

"I've found that if you have a goal, you might not reach it. But, if you don't have one, then you are never disappointed, and I gotta tell ya, it feels phenomenal."

Stay tuned for job rants, joys, sorrows, and yeah that mushy crap about "Bizcocho"
