I'm probably putting too much thought into this, but the really short hair would indicate that he's already going through chemo.

That said, it's a wonderfully evil idea. You would clean up. I suggest standing outside Johns Hopkins - they have the big pediatric unit. I'll come with you and bring TJ. His hair is always that short, if not shorter.
