So, I went to the bank today to be greeted with a nice, plastic encased sign with pamphlets stating that they, Wachovia, already the official scary monster conglomorate from many previous mergers bank, have been bought by Wells Fargo.  Yay

I've heard that. I'm leaning toward the Bank of Clarke Co., to be honest. The main office is right down the street, and I personally know not only most of the tellers, but the VP and so on (as well as how they like their coffee). They're small beans, but that can be a good thing right now, as they didn't seem to get into the high risk mortgage trend or anything stupid like that.

I also really love living here, so being a local bank shouldn't be much of an issue.

How have you guys been, by the way?
