FML Concerts
Damn you Scheduling Gods!!!!! Once again I Hate Kate are playing a show in Denver that I might not get to see! They're @ The Marquis 06/05 and I don't know if I can make it to that one either. At least this is a bit better than last time. Last summer they announced they'd be playing the Gothic w/Tickle Me Pink so I bought my ticket during the pre-sale. It seems like it was within a week The Cab announced they were headlining THE SAME DAY at a venue on the other side of town. Guess which show I went to? And I've still never seen I Hate Kate live! It makes me sad since I love them so.
Huh. Just realized most of you probably wouldn't of heard of I Hate Kate. They're an unsigned band from Long Beach but my favorite radio station's sort of adopted them so I tended to think of them as a local band. The funny thing is when I first started getting into them they'd been on my radio so much that I thought they were some national band that I just hadn't been paying attention to. Their music kinda reminds me of Cobra Starship in a way. mmm, I Hate Kate and Cobra Starship on tour together that'd be awesome! This is the song that got them on the radio.
