Shows Galore!
Okay, fine yes, I've succumbed. I'm going to go to VersaEmerge's next show in CO at the Marquis. I might just stick around for them but I'm definitely going. Though I am a tiny bit interested in one of the other bands on the ticket.
I haven't yet given in to going to The Morning Light's upcoming show at the Marquis thank fuck. I hope I stay strong on this one 'cause even though I really dig their music and I was quite sad that their last tour with Ludo didn't come through here I don't think I should go to this show. For one thing they're opening for Sing It Loud and the only thing Sing It Loud does for me is make me laugh. Also, I'm pretty sure The Morning Light are the third of five bands playing and I'm not into ANY of the other bands on the ticket. And really I don't know if I want see a show the night before what promises to be two intense FOB shows in a row.
Speaking of concerts! I'm really excited about the show I'm going to on Thursday. Tickle Me Pink (a local band going big) was opening for a tour that had show at the Marquis. I was so thrilled when I heard they had a show I could finally see them at! I snatched up a ticket to the show almost as soon as they went on sale. But something crazy happened recently - the last week of the tour got canceled and instead of the hometown show being canceled Tickle Me Pink are now Headlining it! It's so awesome! bloodygoodgirl, want a concert call?
