Cooking Halloween
I so full. I've been meaning to make spaghetti for dinner for a while and yesterday I bought the last ingredient so I was able to make it for dinner tonight. And damn was it tasty. Dad and I have always had our homemade spaghetti with italian sausage but tonight was the first time I'd ever cooked the sausage by myself. I had a lot of fun cooking solo, I especially enjoyed getting to throw spaghetti at the wall and going 'lol sausage condoms' in my head before chopping up the sausage. We had a salad and garlic bread with it and everything turned out just about perfect.

So my Halloween was actually fairly awesome. The weather was crazy nice so we got a TON of trick or treaters. Dad and I had a miscommunication about the halloween candy so we both ended up buying candy. Which turned out to be a good thing since we had so many trick or treaters that i opened every bag we bought. We ended up with just the perfect amount of candy leftover so that it feels kinda like I got to go trick or treating too.
I didn't dress as anything but I did dress up. I usually take Halloween as an opportunity to get experimental and silly with my makeup. This year I decided to play around with my green eye shadow to match my Ryan Ross hat. :~) My niece asked me what I was dressed up as and I asked her "What do you think I'm dressed as?". Her reply? "A famous girl!" and I was all "Yeah, that'll work!". J and E came over for a little while with my baby niece, who was dressed as a bunny! Emmy was pretty darn adorable crawling around in her costume.
