Somewhere, David Bowie is crying himself to sleep
I swear to God, that there must be like a gas leak or something in our apartment. All I ever do is sleep anymore - and once again, I find myself asking how I ended up in this boring state of living from 5 p.m. until 5 a.m. daily. But honestly, I cannot wake up in the afternoon. It's like I'm so tired that my body won't even lift off of the bed to hit the alarm. Seriously! I actually layed there trying just to get back to sleep with the clock going off the other morning. I'm THAT exhausted. Go fig.
Anyways, we went to go see that movie Dark Water last night. Yeah, the one that looks like it stars Jennifer Love Hewitt but it actually stars a less cute Jennifer Connelly, see?
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DRAMATIC ROLES, JEN??
To say the least it was the most boring film I'd ever seen. It's not a horror movie, cuz it's NOT scary... AT ALL. It's not a dramatic movie because ALL of the characters are COMPLETELY unlikeable. And if it were a suspense movie, they really fucked up and shot it in the MOST dreary of locations and lighting of all time. On top of that, but there were like 2-3 different extraneous plot lines that never even get mentioned again after being brought up. In the end, you learn that Connelly really DOESN'T love her daughter that much - well she does... but if you thought weekend visits were bad, try weekend visits with your ghost mom in a haunted elevator. THAT has to suck.
Overall I give it a G+ for being WORSE than an F. Jesus, I could have spent that 20 bucks of food or Invisible Jessica Alba.
That's pretty much it. Me and Rachael had the talk about the Elephant Turd (and NO, I'm not making another reference to Dark Water again). It went alright I thought... I hope.
