So...I was invited to friends' birthday event at a local bar/pub. I got there a little late, it looked okay. Found the group. :) Saw a few people I hadn't in ages. :) But then a few people didn't like the venue so wanted to go to a different local place. Which most of them have frequented before. So I caught a lift there with a friend and her boyfriend who weren't also too enthused by the idea that we were going somewhere where there's a lot of teens and more often than not people from our old high school try and do get in under-age (with fake I.Ds). We waited for the rest of the group to arrive, which took a little while more than 4 cars I think. It was louder but not that 'cluby'. So we could hear each other less and the dance area had not opened yet. A few of us left early around 10:30 a few were leaving after us, the rest seemed fine by it. One of my friends who lives further away so was leaving early said that she'd have preferred an actual dance club in the city or something really quiet to talk. I think I agree, I'd prefer either extreme. A club with that atmosphere or a nice little jazz bar with background music but you can still hear each other. So...that was successful for me. It didn't impart myself to them (I think a couple are definitely already talking about how we skipped out or are 'lame') and it didn't impart itself to me. I doubt I'll be trying to go out again with them soon...after all, I made the effort for them I don't begrudge the fact that they choose where to go its whatever they would prefer but don't expect me to stay when its just not doing anything for me, I am sorry. :/
Anyway. I'm home early enough to do the meme. So onwards...

Day 28 - First TV show obsession
I haven't really 'obsessed'. I guess you're asking for that show that I realised I never ever wanted to miss? Hm. I'll think 'adult' shows, otherwise we could be here for years. I think Crossing Jordan (even though I got into it late) or Charmed (which was also a very late start), maybe The Simpsons every night during dinner? Or the Law & Order's...NCIS I guess came pretty close too. So some of those probably?
